The Curious Case of Mrs. Robinson

Why did she tell the world Tyreek Hill broke his son’s arm?

Tyreek Hill is finally a free man. Last Friday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced Hill would not be suspended to start the 2019 NFL season.

But questions still remain. Most observers want to know the rationale behind Goodell’s controversial decision. The rest of us have far more important questions that need answering.

How in the hell did all of this start, anyway?

There is no question the illicit audio recording concocted by Crystal Espinal and edited and released by KCTV5 on April 25 ignited a firestorm. But before that recording, there was this:

Before we begin to address the content of “Meredith Robinson’s” tweet, we must first identify the author.

Despite the fact it is currently inactive and has been locked for some time, this account is a real person. Robinson was the wife of the late Jeff Robinson, a former major league pitcher (pictured in the twitter avatar) who passed away in Overland Park, KS a few years ago.

Robinson and another former major leaguer, Mike Henneman, were roomates in the minor leagues. Henneman was a teammate with SERGIO ESPINAL at Oklahoma State University decades ago, and the two are currently facebook friends.

It is obvious based on these connections that there is a clear line of communication between Robinson and the Espinals. A family friend, one might say. There is a rumor — unconfirmed at this time — that Henneman is Crystal Espinal’s godfather.

These connections become even clearer, when you uncover evidence that explains why “Mrs_JRobinson44” unleashed her tweet upon the internet on March 13.

A source close to the Chiefs Kingdom Editorial Board gained the confidence of Robinson shortly after her shocking tweet. This source was able to get her to admit the following, including communication with “Mike,” via several pages of direct messages, presented below.

You may draw your own interpretations of these messages.

At this point, we would like to re-state what is already reported fact:

Tyreek Hill did not break his son’s arm.

It was broken in late December or early January.

Now, does Robinson have credibility? Could her statements be true?

As someone who knew the KCTV5 audio tape was coming out prior to it’s release, there is an indication she has inside knowledge. This is compounded by the fact she started a rumor on twitter IN MARCH that Tyreek Hill had broken his son’s arm, long before it became national news.

If you believe Robinson is telling the truth in her accounts of the inner circle of the Espinal family, the interpretations of her direct messages are, we believe, the following:

  1. Sergio Espinal supposedly told people Tyreek Hill broke his son’s arm.
  2. Crystal may have needed to “flip” on Tyreek Hill to “save her ass.”
  3. An Espinal friend gave up the KCTV5 tape because they were upset Hill was not charged.
  4. This was perhaps done so the Espinal parents could potentially gain custody of Hill’s children.

Why would anyone do these things?

We encourage you to read our other story.
